PCBasic Terms of Service
Effective as of October 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PCBasic website, online quotation tools, ordering platform, PCB/PCBA manufacturing and assembly services, customer support, and other related services provided by PCBasic.
This website is operated by PCBasic. Throughout the Site, the terms “PCBasic,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the PCBasic entity responsible for providing the website, products, or services to you. PCBasic offers this website—including all information, tools, and services available from this site—conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
SECTION 1 — Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, submitting files, requesting a quotation, placing an order, or purchasing any standard or custom products or services from PCBasic, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional policies referenced herein or made available by hyperlink, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the Site or use our services.
These Terms apply to all users of the Site, including browsers, customers, vendors, merchants, and contributors of content. Placing an order through the PCBasic website constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and forms a legally binding agreement between you and the relevant PCBasic entity. If these Terms are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms.
SECTION 2 — Account Registration and Responsibilities
To use certain features of the Site, you may need to register for an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities conducted through your account, except where caused by PCBasic’s own fault or a demonstrated system security failure.
You must promptly notify PCBasic of any unauthorized or suspected unauthorized use of your account. PCBasic may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, inaccurate information, security risk, legal risk, compliance risk, or other legitimate business reason. You may request account deletion subject to outstanding orders, payment obligations, legal retention, quality records, dispute resolution, and compliance requirements.
SECTION 3 — Orders, Quotations, and Customer Files
PCBasic provides custom manufacturing and related services based on the information, files, drawings, specifications, and order details submitted by you. You are responsible for ensuring that all files, data, specifications, quantities, materials, finishes, tolerances, delivery addresses, billing information, and other order details are accurate, complete, and suitable for the intended purpose.
PCBasic may use affiliates, group entities, qualified manufacturing partners, suppliers, service providers, or contractors solely as necessary to review, manufacture, assemble, inspect, package, ship, or otherwise fulfill customer orders. Any such parties may access Customer Data only to the extent necessary for the relevant order and must process such information under confidentiality, data-protection, and order-specific use restrictions. They are prohibited from using Customer Data, product images, finished parts, designs, drawings, or order-related information for advertising, reverse engineering, reproduction, resale, customer reference, or any purpose unrelated to fulfillment of the relevant order.
Online quotations are based on the information you submit and are subject to engineering review, file verification, manufacturing feasibility, material availability, compliance review, and final order confirmation by PCBasic. PCBasic may adjust the quotation, request additional information, or cancel an order if the submitted files or specifications do not match the information entered, are incomplete, are technically infeasible, or create legal, compliance, or manufacturing risks. If an order is cancelled after payment due to PCBasic’s inability to process or accept the order, PCBasic will refund the applicable amount through the original payment method where reasonably possible.
SECTION 4 — Trade Compliance and Restricted Products
You agree to comply with all applicable export control, sanctions, customs, anti-diversion, and trade compliance laws and regulations, including those of China, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United Nations, and other applicable jurisdictions.
Uploading weapons, weapons components, or items subject to export control regulations (such as ITAR or controlled EAR classifications beyond EAR99), or any restricted dual-use items, is strictly prohibited. PCBasic does not manufacture or accept any products related to weapons, military equipment, or other controlled defense items.
By using our Services, you represent and warrant that the products you order will not be sold, transferred, or diverted to any regions or jurisdictions under export control restrictions, or to any end-users, organizations, or applications prohibited by international trade compliance laws. Users are fully responsible for ensuring end-use, end-user, and destination compliance during and after shipment.
Restricted destinations may include, without limitation, Cuba, Iran, Syria, Sudan, North Korea, Russia, Belarus, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Venezuela, and any other countries, regions, persons, entities, or end uses restricted under applicable laws or PCBasic’s internal compliance review. Restricted end uses include military end uses, weapons, ammunition, unmanned combat systems, weapons of mass destruction, nuclear, missile, chemical or biological weapons applications, or uses involving serious human rights violations.
PCBasic may require end-user statements, end-use certificates, export classification information, licenses, sanctions screening information, or other compliance documents. PCBasic may refuse, suspend, cancel, or terminate any order or service where we reasonably believe there is a legal, sanctions, export control, customs, or compliance risk, or where you fail to cooperate with reasonable compliance review.
PCBasic is committed to responsible sourcing and does not knowingly use conflict minerals sourced from conflict-affected areas. We expect suppliers to comply with applicable conflict minerals regulations and responsible sourcing standards.
SECTION 5 — Customer Data, Intellectual Property, and Confidentiality
Your submission of personal information through PCBasic is governed by our Privacy Policy. Ownership of any files, data, drawings, designs, specifications, or other materials uploaded or submitted by you remains with you or your licensors.
By submitting Customer Data or User Content to PCBasic, you grant PCBasic a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, limited license to access, use, process, and review such data solely to the extent necessary for quotations, manufacturing and delivery, engineering review, customer support, quality assurance, compliance review, and improving internal manufacturing processes related to the services you requested. Affiliates and fulfillment partners may access such data only as necessary under confidentiality and data-protection restrictions.
Except for limited order-fulfillment access, this license is non-transferable and non-sublicensable, and ends upon completion of the related order except where retention is required by law, quality assurance, dispute resolution, compliance, or legitimate business record-keeping. PCBasic shall not sell, disclose, copy, modify, distribute, or use your Customer Data for any third-party benefit or unrelated purpose without your prior written consent. PCBasic will not use your technical files to train AI or machine-learning systems without your prior written consent.
SECTION 6 — Publicity and Customer References
PCBasic and its affiliates, manufacturing partners, suppliers, service providers, and contractors are prohibited from using any customer product images, project information, finished parts, technical files, designs, drawings, or order-related information for marketing, advertising, promotional display, customer reference, reverse engineering, reproduction, resale, or any unrelated commercial purpose without the customer’s prior consent.
SECTION 7 — Products, Services, and Quality
PCBasic will use commercially reasonable efforts to manufacture products in accordance with the confirmed order specifications, accepted production files, and applicable quality standards. PCBasic does not guarantee that products will meet requirements not expressly confirmed in the order.
Certain products or services may be available exclusively online and may be subject to availability, manufacturing capability, material availability, compliance review, and order acceptance. PCBasic may limit, suspend, or discontinue any product or service, or limit sales to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction, where reasonably necessary for legal, compliance, operational, security, or business reasons.
Product images, colors, descriptions, materials, and technical information on the Site are for general reference. Actual results may vary depending on manufacturing processes, materials, finishes, tolerances, display settings, and order specifications. Returns, refunds, remakes, or exchanges are subject to PCBasic’s after-sales procedures and any published return policy.
SECTION 8 — Prices, Payment, and Surcharges
Prices for PCBasic products and services may change from time to time. The price shown during online quotation is based on the information you submit and becomes binding only after PCBasic confirms the order and reviews the submitted files where applicable.
PCBasic may revise the price, request additional payment, or cancel the order if the submitted files, specifications, materials, quantities, delivery requirements, or other details differ from the information used for the quotation. Additional charges may apply, including logistics fees, bank or payment processing fees, VAT, import duties, DTP/DDP service fees, customs clearance-related charges, remote area fees, storage fees, or other charges displayed at checkout or communicated during order processing.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, payment, shipping, and account information. PCBasic may refuse, suspend, or cancel orders where payment information is inaccurate, payment is declined, fraud is suspected, or compliance review is not completed.
SECTION 9 — Shipping, Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Unless otherwise stated at checkout or confirmed by PCBasic in writing, customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other customs-related charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and remain your responsibility. If you select and pay for an available tax-inclusive or duty-paid service (such as IOSS, DTP, DDP, or another duty/VAT service shown at checkout), covered taxes or duties will be handled according to that service; uncovered charges remain your responsibility.
You are responsible for confirming applicable import requirements with your local customs authority where necessary. PCBasic is not responsible for delays, inspections, seizures, penalties, storage fees, or additional charges caused by customs authorities, incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you, import restrictions, or circumstances beyond PCBasic’s reasonable control.
SECTION 10 — Delivery Confirmation and After-Sales Claims
After PCBasic ships an order, you are responsible for monitoring delivery and confirming receipt within the applicable confirmation period. Unless otherwise stated, the automatic receipt confirmation period is generally 30 days from shipment for express logistics (such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, SF, or similar), and generally 60 days from shipment for postal, standard, air freight, sea freight, or other methods.
If you do not confirm receipt or submit a valid after-sales claim within the applicable period, the order may be automatically marked as received and completed. Automatic receipt confirmation does not waive your right to raise valid quality, shortage, damage, or non-conformity claims within the applicable after-sales or warranty period under PCBasic’s after-sales procedures.
SECTION 11 — Website Information, Errors, and Service Changes
PCBasic strives to keep website information accurate and up to date, but information on the Site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated material. PCBasic may correct errors, update information, change product descriptions, revise pricing, or cancel orders affected by inaccurate information, including after an order has been submitted.
PCBasic may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site, tools, products, or services where reasonably necessary for operational, security, legal, compliance, or business reasons, except as required by applicable law or expressly agreed by PCBasic.
SECTION 12 — Optional Tools and Third-Party Links
PCBasic may provide access to third-party tools, links, websites, payment services, logistics providers, or other third-party services. Such services are provided by independent third parties and may be subject to their own terms and policies. PCBasic does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, tools, services, content, products, or transactions, except to the extent required by applicable law. Review applicable third-party terms before using those services.
SECTION 13 — User Comments, Feedback, and Submissions
If you submit comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback, or reviews that are not confidential Customer Data, PCBasic may use such feedback to improve its Site, products, and services. This Section does not apply to technical files, product designs, manufacturing files, drawings, specifications, confidential information, or order-related materials submitted for quotation or production; those materials are governed by Section 5, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable NDA.
You agree that any comments or feedback you submit will not violate third-party rights, contain unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, misleading, or malicious content, or contain viruses, malware, or harmful code.
SECTION 14 — Prohibited Uses and Site Security
You may not use the Site, products, or services for any illegal, prohibited, infringing, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or unauthorized purpose, or in violation of any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights. You must not upload, transmit, distribute, or introduce worms, viruses, malware, malicious code, scraping tools, automated abuse, or other harmful materials that may damage, disrupt, interfere with, overload, or compromise the Site or PCBasic systems.
You may not collect or track personal information of others, impersonate another person, submit false or misleading information, interfere with security features, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, systems, accounts, or data. PCBasic may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for any prohibited use or security risk.
SECTION 15 — Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly stated by PCBasic in writing, the Site, online tools, information, products, and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. PCBasic does not guarantee that the Site or services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that all website information will always be accurate, complete, or current. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
SECTION 16 — Limitation of Liability and Non-Exclusivity
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PCBasic shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of data, production interruption, or replacement costs, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, products, or services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PCBasic’s total liability for claims arising from or related to an order shall be limited to the amount paid by you to PCBasic for the order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability to the extent such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or breach of confidentiality obligations.
The relationship between you and PCBasic is non-exclusive. PCBasic may provide manufacturing services to other customers, including customers with similar or competing products, provided that PCBasic will not use your confidential Customer Data for the benefit of any third party without your prior written consent.
SECTION 17 — Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PCBasic, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, service providers, and contractors from and against actual losses, claims, penalties, fines, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, violation of applicable law, infringement of third-party rights, inaccurate information, or misuse of the Site, products, or services.
SECTION 18 — Suspension and Termination
These Terms remain effective unless terminated by you or PCBasic. You may stop using the Site or services at any time, subject to outstanding orders, payment obligations, legal and compliance obligations, and provisions that by their nature should survive termination.
PCBasic may suspend, restrict, cancel, or terminate your account, order, or access to the Site or services if PCBasic reasonably believes that you have breached these Terms, failed to pay amounts due, provided inaccurate information, created legal or compliance risk, violated trade compliance requirements, misused the Site, or failed to cooperate with reasonable review requests. Termination does not affect rights, obligations, liabilities, or remedies accrued before the termination date.
SECTION 19 — Severability, Waiver, and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. PCBasic’s failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
These Terms, together with any policies or additional terms referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and PCBasic regarding your use of the Site and services, unless a separate written agreement has been signed by both parties.
SECTION 20 — Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any separate agreements under which PCBasic provides services to you shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable law.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent people’s court at the place where PCBasic’s principal place of business in Shenzhen, China is located, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
SECTION 21 — Changes to These Terms
Any new features or tools added to the current platform shall also be subject to these Terms. You can review the most current version at any time on this page. PCBasic may update, change, or replace these Terms by posting the revised version on this page. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
Your continued use of or access to the Site after any changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes. Changes to these Terms will not materially affect orders already accepted by PCBasic, unless required by applicable law, regulation, compliance obligations, or agreed by both parties.
